Finally the site has upgraded and echo have brought out some new parts, a proper look at the echo style rim brake and a little brief specification. parts soon to be on tarty bikes in around 2 weeks i think it said. can't wait as im currently waiting to build a team tarty bikes and echo site.. have a look.. new freewheel as well EDIT:apologise to anyone who has alredy posted a topic like this before, i didnt realise :$ .. tom

  5. . If your going to do a job at least do it properly, use dot fluid ( clutch & brake fluid) same thing, works fine
  6. i run maggies on my trials bike but on my mountain bike i have avid sd5s an i was actually really impressed with them, was really thinking about putting them on my trials bike but just didnt get round to doing it. no doubt they would have been really good when properly set up , basically mate just try things out and figure for yourself for what feels best. good luck with that

Ride around with your brake on for a while few minuites), then pour cold water over the rotor and continue riding round for the next few minuites the again pour water on the rotor, continue this for a couple more times untill the brake has a really nice sharp bite happy to help. tom reason for doing this is that the rotor gets really hot and instantly pouring cold water on it seems to do something to it, dont ask me i just know it works as i have seen it done .. EDIT: brake not fully on, rubbing

  20. i was reading that and i though " does that say a foot ". 5 ft is ok but practice makes perfect really .. anyways yeh try and get as close to the edge as you can and sort of lower the front end and power out of it and you should go quite far ,, practice practice practice

  24. our mates got a koxx vinco and the spokes are snapping in his rear wheel, hes had three so far and he feels its becoming a pain in the a*se. its weird because all the spokes seem tight enough but i was wondering wether it was that they were too tight or not, anyways its buckled to f**k now and is rubbing on the brakes- very annoying , but shizz happens
