Greetings
Looking for one myself, it seems Acer are a good choice in terms of performance to price ratio.

GyTrials
looks good any more?anyone had any experiance with the evesham laptops
MadManMike
AFAIK Evesham aren't great. Inur's suggestion of Acer seems good - I know a couple of people that bought those £299 ones from Tesco, performance wise they seem good for the money. poopipe
Acer seem good, Asus are also good for the money - I'm very happy with my f3 apart from the fact you can't read the writing on the keys in bad lighting.laptopsdirect.co.uk are pretty cheap and are also legit
Nick Garland
Check out Laptops Direct, they do pretty good deals. There was a thread on this like 2 months back with lots of options on laptops.
