All good apart from a slight movement in the headset that needs sorting.

corr....well done thutley! looks mint...

you probably need to cut the steerer a bit...then you'll get more compression in the headset and stop the looseness (Y)

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I have solved the problem with the headset, the steerer tube was about a few millimetres too big, so the top cap hit the top of the steerer before it was anywhere near tight, so it wouldn't clamp down on the spacers properly.

Just a bit of filing and jobs a good'un.

I'm not going to cut the steerer tube down just yet, as there is currently only about 20mm poking out of the stem, and some of this may be taken up if I change my headset.

But if it becomes a problem then I will do.

what exactly did you file? not the top cap surely :S

could've just put another spacer on/cut the steerer.....

From what he's said i'd imagine he's filled the steerer just a little.

There is no need to cut it anymore unless you feel that it's hindering your progress, I actually wish I had a bit more length on my steerer and a few spacers in there instead.

Thanks for the comments again.

Its a long frame and am loving it.

Its a lot easier to gap to front wheel due to the length and height of the bike, it naturally endo's you over the front.

[borat]Great success!!![/borat]

That looks lovely. The rocks in the background also look very good for riding. I also like the black, looks plain but very nice.
