trust mate the best thing to do is use another wheel as a template (Y)

build one half of the wheel then the other side

i did it yesterday, never built a wheel before, nd took bout an hour nd a half

and you'll feel proper pleased after aswell!

suppose to be very good. the bike mechanic at work recommends it. just be patient and follow the guidlines precisely and it will work. if you rush it'll be harder to true the wheel at the end. worked for me :)

I hate doing one half and then the other, just seems to be pure hassle. If you do it the way I put it in that guide, it means you're more prepared to do different lacings, different techniques, etc. Just a lot easier overall if you know what you're doing :)

If you've got all the stuff that you need to build a wheel with you, it makes that guide a lot easier instead of just trying to guess it by reading it without a wheel needing to be built, if you see what I mean?
