Solidified orange Tango?

I know putting coke on your rims works like tar does in the short term, but surely this is a step too far? :P

Exactly where i got the name from..The colour reminded me of the orange dude in the ads when i were a lad....Youve been tango'd!!!!! After being slapped in the face with a big orange glove..LOL

The pads have been developed for rims that have a grind, i dont know anyone running smooth rims so i cant test them, they may work great.

Feedback on this side of the pond has been awesome. Even converted a few die hard coust fans!!!

As for the plaz refills i figured it was about time someone offered an option for all those used backings out there.

They should end up being very reasonably priced too.

Stayed tuned..

Brilliant place to test, UK?, dry weather?, surely not?

Anyway, summer is coming to an end, who is going to to buy dry weather pads?. =D

Best of luck, if it can top a set of Echo pads on a smooth rim then you've got yourself a potential buyer.

  • 5 weeks later...

got a pair yesterday to test and are very good (Y)

very well made and fit in the backings very well which can be the fault in some pads! love the colour and the sound isnt overpowering at all and they lock tramendiously!

they are very reliable and have boosted my confidence alot! Thanks alot for the pads (Y)

well here is my thoughts of the pads

bad points:

wear rate - have about 2 ml left on a very light grind after 4 days

good points:

good preforming!

well cut!

fit very well into the backing!

more good points to bad points so that is good i guess (Y)

Normally though, hard pads = good wear rate, soft pads = bad wear rate.

These pads must be quite soft then, if you find them to wear quickly, which should make them grippier and so stop better, hehe.
