Why not? It's an 18t bash covering a 15t cog...

when the cranks are level at 90 degrees (east and west on a compass)

the bash ring should point down (south on a compass) (Y)

must be the angle on the picture??

then again ive just realised youre left foot forward so its probably the angle ;)

Point slightly forwards is fine, mine does with the TNN all in one job.

Looks really tidy mate :) I'll have a play on Sunday (Y)

But if you're going up something and slip down and need the bash your front wheel is higher. Your bb doesn't touch the ground when your wheels are level.

paint the freewheel?

Nope, anadised sprocket, I'm running a Chris King.

Sounds like the bash is clamped in between the frame and BB so does not spin with the cranks, just always stays in that position.

Edit: Bike looks lush as....

Exactly ;)

Unsure on the geo, I think its +35bb and 1035 long, unsure on the chainstays though.

Cheers guys :)

What's wrong with the bash? It does the same job only without spinning with the cranks, that's all ;DD

Bike looks very nice, hope it rides like that too :)

Cheers. Yeah, the bike rides so nicely, really happy with it.

So, with the bash can i just ask? Did you just have to fit a 5mm wider BB?

I was told by Adam at Tarty Bikes to just un screw the BB, place the bash over the BB in between the frame, and screw it back in. If you want I can get some pictures for you of how it goes?

1035wb on a stock? My old mod was longer than that. Shows I haven't been on the 'scene' in a while.

I'm not sure if it's correct, but that's what I remember being told.

Totally wrong, haha, just checked the neon website: 1085wb, 71.5° head angle, 380 chain stays and +35bb.
