Video Compressing

I tend to compress my stuff in H.264 (i think  ) and that retains pretty decent quality.

One program I used recently was Microsoft Expression. Its a free tool for converting / compressing video files and was actually genuinely impressed with it for a Microsoft product. Converted a 1080p .MOV file (was just over 500mb) into .WMV and was reduced to around 100mb and still had pretty decent quality.

Another older tool Jonny Jones and I used to use was a program called TMPEG, which again is free. It takes a while to get all the settings to an acceptable standard (however you can find plenty of free templates on the internet).
