aener Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 Not really a fair test though, is it Stan rides so smooth I'd be willing to put money on that if he had a full carbon frame, it'd still last longer than an ally frame with an average rider. I know how many tubes I've had to give that basher over the past 9 months or so But nah, even though he's smooth, the sort of hooks, wedges and stuff Stan does on natural are going to test that frame more than just sidehopping up walls the whole time, so even if you're a TGS basher I'm guessing Stan's frame is still getting pulled apart more. I've got the same frame same year, and I think I'm gonna do this. What's the inner diameter of the carbon? Is there anything else I'd need to know to do this?
