TheLeroyHUK Posted July 8, 2012 Report Share Posted July 8, 2012 i think this will work... the carbon composite used will be of a high standard... like that of the f1 industry ( cars and boats etc ) video on youtube proves carbon can withstand impact better than alluminum... were the shock goes straight through the metal, it's not designed to flex therefore leaving a dent spreding the impact around the area of impact... were as carbon is designed to flex therefore leaving no dent but scratches only and on a very, very nasty bail may fracture the carbon in which case depending on were the damage inflickted may result in needing replacing... would love to see the mould they had to make for this, that chainstay is spectacular. the price will also reflect on the frames as they require being hand made... well worth the price Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
