And fuel consumption. I used to race an aprilia rs125 and it was very highly tuned, I used to change the piston every 500 miles to be on the safe side. That was fully de restricted, arrow race pipe, barrel flowed and ported, head skimmed and crab rejetted to suit. It was fast, but I got the feeling it was very fragile. Cagivas are even worse. It's not worth the hassle on the road, you'll be rebuilding it every 2 months. An rs 250 would be better, as it's based on an rgv250 engine, but they are still fragile unless you use £20 a litre 2 stroke oil. Trust me, me and my old man have had two strokes all our lives, and there's not much we haven't done with them I am aware of that. and yes, 2 stroke are not the best, most reliable, comfortable, quite or cheapest but the noise, the feel, the "power valve" (the valve that is at the exhaust side that helps the engine at low and high rev?)...
