04 Maggie Lever Blade?

14 posts in this topic

right so i have some 04 levers and the lever baldes aren't the most comfortable, i want to find some more comfy blades preferably a bit longer too. anybody know any were that still stocks some upgrades for my relic levers?, i havn't seen any for sale for ages and i dont realy want to change my lever bodys as they work fine.

has anyone tried making some tr blades fit the 04 bodys?

the tr levers clearly based on the 04 maggie just a lot prettier and ive been thinking about this as an option for a while, but without a pic of the blades side by side its hard to tell if its possible plus 40 quid on a whim isn't my style.

any ideas guys?

cheers

The Echo Tr blade is a lot narrower than the 04 Magura one. Try finding a Fresh products lever blade or get a 2011 HS11 or HS33 blade and with a little modification

If you can get hold of the old magura CNC levers then get those. had them on mine, comfier than any other lever I tried.

Me? Na I've had mine at least 7-8 years. They've seen many lever bodies.

I actually didnt like mine at all, they felt like the old hope levers; a little too square on top.

RB designs all the way :)

I thought RB were horrible lol, I found the way the RB's bowed out away from you give it a weird feel, and if I remember, the blade wasn't very rounded/comfy.

I think the late 04 blades were a bit rounder than the cnc ones, but these look way nicer.

Ever used one of these?

I've got one of these at home, if anyone's interested in buying it. I didn't like the feel of it, i prefer a longer lever :)
