This is what i did friday evening, Dr reckons if i was wearing a helmet the shape of it would of stopped this happening. Usual rant about how yes, wearing a helmet is safer, but 1. it doesnt protect you from everything and 2.its his decision whether to wear one or not. ogre Posted October 10, 2012 Report Share Posted October 10, 2012 1. it doesnt protect you from everything seemingly not, but the way you fall with/out a helmet can affect other things. i broke my leg a few months ago, i wasn't wearing a helmet at the time, i only broke my leg cause i put my foot out to stop myself falling backwards, if i was wearing a lid, i might have just gone with it and not be in the situation i'm in now... thats me speculating and it's my opinion so don't nazi me into the ground for it tf, but since that you won't catch me without a lid because of that belief. Cut myself in the same place when wearing a helmet. Also broke my nose and f**ked some other stuff. The doctors told me it wouldn't have happened if I was wearing a helmet. It's recommended you don't try to eat or use the toilet for that reason. Whilst wearing the helmet, of course. Can't have everyone's bladders exploding, now, can we?
