Realised the Slope Style was far too big for what I was going to be using it for, then this baby came up. Guess ill ride this until it dies then try the Intense. Bought both second hand on Pink Bike. I always liked the idea of it being short travel with a steep seatube so should climb ok, but really good fun on the way down. How does it feel so far? Need to watch for that, or maybe even try shorter cranks if I'm being a cornering noob and doing it too much. Saying that, it doesnt feel low to ride. Pedals well enough, floats over jumps fine, pulls up to manual easy enough. The gear cable sticks out a bit at the seat tube when the frame is in compression but thats a minor issue. Head angle feels good for tight corners. Ive got a 70mm stem on at the moment but going to fit a 50mm and slightly lower bars to try it out. Carrera Fury SR Suntour Raidon 120mm forks Hope/DT Swiss wheels wrapped in Conti Rubber Queens Full SLX 2x10 drivetrain with Shadow+ rear mech and bash ring DMR V8s Avid Elixir 1 brakes (soon to be upgraded) Everything else is standard except a Hope QR seatclamp and Hope bar ends (not pictured) I have got other bikes, including stickerbombed roady with flat bars, an Octane One dirt jumps bike and a few trials bikes but the Fury is the one I thought had more significance in this thread.
