How to get contact with a girl who you do not know?

You also posted a pic in that thread I made about show what you look like.

Dating sites aren't for social weirdos btw!! What about those who go to Uni in all male classes such as engineering and don't get to socialise with girls? and when they come home that's it, start it all again.

OK:

1. Don't write off plenty of fish. It will probably be better for you than tinder as you only get like one shot on tinder really, and its hugely looks based. (no offence, I dunno what you look like). There are LOADS of girls on there. Yes, some are whales. However, you don't have to look very far to find a good one. There are plenty of girls into the same stuff as you, you just need to find them. You spend all day on a computer anyway, get your sis to dress you in what she thinks are your best clothes and get her to take some pics, upload them and spend 10 mins writing about yourself and thats it, sit back and see what happens. 'Like' a few girls on there, search for 'rock music' or whatever. Opens up your search area to miles rather than just one bar.

2. You have a sis - How old is she in comparison? Is she cool and not as socially awkward? If so, perfect. Go out with her, get her to dress you up, go over to groups of girls with her and intorduce yourselfs, be quick to note she is your sis (otherwise they'll think you're going out) and go from there. They'll be less threatened with a girl there, and probably think it'd cute you still hang with your sis.

3. Does your sis have any friends you could get to know better?

but do not want to seem like a guy who just want to have an intercourse. How would you do that?

Don't just seem like one, tell her straight up. But don't refer to it as intercourse... 9 out of 10 girls will tell you to p*** off but when it does work you get all the fun and no bf duties ;)

Are you joking? That's an awesome starting point imo and always works well. Not saying you spend hours on the forum but doing the sport anyway..

Yeah, generally mentioning things you're interested in or do as a hobby is worth it so long as you don't go into much detail. Could backfire if you do...

Out of interest how could it do that?

It came up in convo when I met my gf as my phone background was me doing an up to front across some spools which led to her asking what it was. Then we spent the following morning watching trials vids, she was totally fascinated by it!

I think if anything you've got a great convo starter right there, at least it's not bmxing where everyone roughly knows what that is.

I have skimmed read through all this haha, so I might have missed something. But even though I'm just 16 I am quite good with picking up girls. (I really don't mean that in the cocky way btw)

My tip would be to go to some parties and learn just how to socialise with others and you'll pick it all up quite fast. I'm lucky to be that guy that's really not that afraid to talk with anyone, no matter who they are. And I'm a pretty forward person.

And if you fancy one girl, you have to be able to read her body language and her signals she's putting out. And be close to her. If she moves away from you and are keeping a distance, then she probably doesn't want you haha.

Dress up quite good, and SMELL GOOD. The little trick of just buying a perfume that smells good and isn't normal or popular to have have worked really really good for me.

I bet many will say that I'm wrong but this works gooooood for me :)

EDIT: If you can't really read of body language and that kind of stuff then google might help you haha

I really really hope we get a picture of him doing a selfie with 2 girls on each side in a few weeks/months time.

Regarding the sister thing, you're 19, she and her mates vary from 16 to 18. Perfect. Go out with her once or twice see if you mix if you don't then scrap that.

I went out with my sister who is 22 a couple of times when we actually get on (9/10 times we don't get on) I'm 18. Became friendly with her mates, they're all pretty nice but mega mature and could hold a decent conversation with all of them but I don't think I'd ever be more than pub buddies with them if you know what I mean. Deffo wish I had a sister who was only slightly younger than me.

Pretty certain it's initially stemmed from the times of MSN! Reminds me of a time in year 9 when I fancied this girl who sat next to me in English, literally the girl of my dreams back in the day, and I would talk to her for hours and hours on MSN in the evening. But at school we wouldn't talk to each other, not even in class, and I mean not a single word haha.

TL;DR'd a lot of this, but that's always amazed me - I was slammin' this girl on another course at college a while back - we'd text and chat on fb and shit, but then wouldn't actually really talk much in person. Remember broaching the subject jokingly while playing some post-fun Mario Kart, as you do, that was kinda the deal breaker.

What a weird time in my life that was.

Anyway, dating advice! Literally just be you mate. If you want to talk to someone, talk to them - you have nothing to lose. Don't instantly come onto them, just make conversation and see if they're keen to chat, if not, leave it - you'll likely never seen her again anyway. No chat up lines and pleeeeeease don't open up with "hey, can I buy you a drink"! You'll be fine dude.

Well dear, I've been riding trials for quite some time now. Recently I changed my gear ratio from 18:16 to 18:15 which meant I had a slack chain and had to make a chain tensioner out of a spoke. You know, the thing which makes a wheel. I bent the spoke so it would tension the chain but cut myself in the process. I then went out and found my run up distances have changed quite significantly so it was really difficult to do taps. Incidentally, I used to be able to backwheel like 4 feet this way but now I'm struggling with 3, partly because I'm constantly aware that the spoke might slip off the chain and cause me to lose drive and OTB.

Well dear, it's all down to the tyres. I've tried various compounds, some didn't require heating up but would overheat during the run. FF004 seems to be a fairly versatile compound during the summer so long as you're run is shorter than 4 miles. Getting 30C of heat into them beforehand resulted in 70C after a 4 mile run which sounds a bit dodgy, I know. My friend says the operating temperature for this compound is 60C+ but I don't believe him, and I'm sure you don't either. The rubber feels far too soft. Blah blah blah....

same goes for me for PC-s

I could speak hours and hours of it

but yeah, it is not the best way to start a conversation

I usually mention that I ride a trick bike, that is like a BMX, but with no seat. They have an idea (hopefully) what I am doing and save the conversation what is trials. that will end up it is like a BMX, with no seat, that is used to doing tricks.

Words...

I don't think anyone would ever describe trials in that way. You're one interesting guy...

pleeeeeease don't open up with "hey, can I buy you a drink"! You'll be fine dude.

It depends on the situation..

If you're in a club dancing, you keep making eye contact with someone, this leads to the odd smile.. It's hard to talk to someone in a crowded place with music etc. Just generally introduce yourself and then ask if the want to grab a drink.. It's better than the 'I CAN'T HEAR YOU!'. If they're attracted they will say yes, 95% of the time it works and if not, meh move on.

after several beers I am capable to talk to hardcore PC guys about computers... just to realize that they do not know that much about hardware as me...

1. Well yeah, it does. Actually It would be better to get a friend to a Valentines date, who you know and she knows you, rather than a pickup line

2. See quote above, the guy was suggesting to go to he library to read about ladies

3. Well.... let say alone. I am not sure if I could cope well with a group about asking a girl for a drink at first

1 Don't envolve friends, we're not in the school playground :P

2 didn't read all the daft answers people have put, just gave you my answer to your first post.

3 if she's with friends leave drink behind bar or get the bar person to go give it to her, you'll need to tip the bar man. But again the confidence part goes out the window
