persistant_itch
Hi all, So I bought a 17 tooth gusset double 6 for my fourplay to make it a bit more trialsy. Tartybikes say on their questions page that it will fit hope hubs with the supplied spacers. Long story short. It doesn't. The spacers I have won't work with it it seems. There either 2 or 3 mm over or 2 or 3 mm under. Can anyone please help me. Where would I get the right spacer to make a snug fit or am I doing something wrong? AdamR28
2mm over is correct, you need a bit sticking out or the locking won't preload the spacers.
persistant_itch
2mm over is correct, you need a bit sticking out or the locking won't preload the spacers. One of my spacers has a lip on the outside edge. I assume that's for the lockring to sit on? But when I sit that one on there's alot of play on the sprocket and I haven't got the right spacer to fill that gap it would seem? At present I've got one 5mm spacer one 6 mm with a lip on the edge and one 10 mm plus the 7 mm of the sprocket? AdamR28
You can use the one with the lip but it doesn't matter. Cool, if that's too much swap the 5 for the 3...

Yeah I think I'm going to have to order a 3mm spacer off you guys. Gonna be 2 weeks off the bike now for a miniscule spacer..... The joys of biking!
