Greetings
Soyrr for this topic but maybe someone can help. When two particles collide in a particle collider, do they physically collapse into other particles they are built of or are these particles created as a result of the energy of collision? You know, the energy = matter formual. Missus seems to think it's physical collapse, I think it's the latter. Loads of energy from the speed of particles being converted into new matter, bosons quarks gluons etc.
Pashley26
What's this got to do with hard ons?
HippY
Soyrr for this topic but maybe someone can help. You know, the energy = matter formual. Missus seems to think it's physical collapse, I think it's the latter. Loads of energy from the speed of particles being converted into new matter, bosons quarks gluons etc. As far as I am aware they are "extracting" existing materials from the particles, I did not follow that part that closely if I want to be honest. And this is me making an a$$ of myself: These are a byproduct of the collision BTW you have strange topics with your wife Edited April 3, 2015 by HippY
Dave Anscombe
They are created as a result of x and y being smashed together
Kevinfor
I believe it goes: particle x collides with another x, creating a new and heavier particle y. In order for two x to become y, one or both x have to give up some atoms, which then collide with other atoms creating new particles. bikeperson45
I thought it was mostly that the existing particles become divided although there is potential for new particles to be created, LIKE BLACK HOLE PARTICLES oh my god
HippY
so I think we can conclude is that quantum physics is strange
