Trial after (Knee Arthroscopy)

Hello!

A days ago i fell from a lovely rock near my house... And apparently the surgeon told me that I need a knee arthroscopy (but to be sure i need the MRI)... I have a block of the movement of the movement at 100°...

The question is... If i need this surgery can I ride again? Or if someone have been in a similar condition could tell how are you now after that injury? haha :giggle:

Regards! :ninja:

You should be fine (Y) Bongo (a member on here) has had that surgery in the past and he's currently in Malaga riding right now. He's totally destroyed his knees a couple of times but still rides. You'll be fine, just keep on top of the physio/rehab!

If people can go through stuff like this and go on to still ride at a super high level, you've got nothing to worry about with your surgery (Y)

Doesn't sound like you actually know what the problem is yet though? Arthroscopy is a pretty basic thing with a pretty minimal recovery time but it sounds to me like before you get an MRI you're not going to be too sure about what actually needs to be done which will completely change the answer you'll get. Having been in your position I'd say stay away from looking at stuff on the internet before you completely know what your specific problem is.

And hopefully you won't have to fly to Canada and pay a surgeon in cash and help with the drilling of your bones :P

Actually today i have the MRI, so after that i'll know exactly what injury it is ... I said knee arthroscpy because i whent 2 doctors and they said it's very likely that ill need one... But i'll be sure after the MRI.

I know it's better not to ask in internet because you got very wrong ideas of what you have, but still... wanna know if i have to go to surgery, if I will do sports after that. Just need an opinion :)
