Brettoll
Looking at building a retro rig and after some opinions.. For those that rode the Leeson Clear 660 XL, what set up of fork / stem / bar dos you find most suited for you? I had one a few years back with the traditional pashleys and a high rise 90mm stem and it felt gash. Cheers, Brett
Skoze
The thing with 660s, Pashleys, Zebdis etc is that you always remember them riding a lot better than they actually do I think I had a Thomson 90x15 with some 2.5 Azonics on mine and that was actually quite nice, the Pashley forks tend to ruin things through the medium of weigh distribution. Put some Fattys on it!
Brettoll
Yeah this is true, Pashleys were an unusual fork and the rake seemed insane. But still tempted to find a set and try and relive the challenge of using them! Nice, will keep that in mind.
Matt24.
I run a lesson 609 and am opting for some marino's they felt a little more old school than the inspireds with some trialtech high risers. Works pretty well. If you fancied some leeson forks I have some in reasonable nick?
