British Trials Cup R3 Fort William World Downhill Cup

Recommended Posts

The trials year has got off with a great start at Hook Woods in Surrey, and at Seymours Arena in Oxfordshire - now we move to the north to the fantastic weekend planned at Fort William on 6th and 7th June.

As usual, the event is part of the UCI World Downhill event and entry to the trial gives you free access to everything else that's going on in the World Cup village - loads of trade stands, demos, competitions, crowds of people, etc. Check it out at http://fortwilliamworldcup.co.uk. And with the normal cost of a weekend ticket of £52 per adult and £26.50 for a child, it makes entry to our competition well worthwhile! Each rider gets a weekend pass for themselves and for one minder (our observers also get a free pass so bring mum along to observe and make a family weekend away!)

The entry form can be downloaded, or as usual you can enter and pay on-line from www.biketrialuk.co.uk/Events.htm. The closing date to make sure you get your free passes is Sunday 31st May.

This year our competition includes three laps, two on Saturday and one on Sunday morning so you'll be able to soak up the World Downhill atmosphere and finals on Sunday afternoon before the presentations.

We'd love to see all the Scottish riders come along to enter, we've not seen many of you for a while and the sport in the north needs everyone's support, and it really is a great weekend! Come along and claim some of the new Trialtech medals for Scotland! The 4th round of the series is also in Scotland at the Bob McGregor Trials Park so there's an even better chance for you to take away extra Championship points this year!

Don't forget to keep looking for up to date news on our website www.biketrialuk.co.uk and our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Biketrial-Federation-UK/379772689176. There's loads of pictures and information about what's going on in trials around the country.

Hope to see you all there!

My busy one coming up and here a few updates. The rear two arena sections will have no trucks in front of them this year. I have found a new section up at the dam which looks very good. You can walk to it or swim to it if its sunny!
