Sam Song
Not too long ago, Deng used to make short and long versions of their trial frames up until 09/10. I have an 07 Echo Control short frame that I am trying to build up; and I am wondering how I should build it. From what I understand, these short frames were not too popular since they were not as streety as the Planet X bikes, but they were not as good for pure trials as the long version of the Deng frames either. The current bike I am coming from is an 09 Zoo Piranha long, but I need to change it soon, as that frame is cracked. My current riding style is more of a pogo stick TGS riding, but I am not sure how the 07 Control short frame would do for that kind of "inch hunting" riding? A more modern frame would be nice, but right now I am tight on money. AND I do have a bit of a sentimental connection to the Control short frame since that was my very first trials frame , so I also think it would be nice to go back to my very first frame after 6 years in trials riding. Anyways, I would like to see some picture of the short version of these Deng frame builds, possibly some riding videos too if you have them .
