Mikee
Had this frame lying around for a few months whist I had some fun on another frame and because I was making up my mind what colour to paint in. After lots of thought though, I chose the boring option and went black. I'm still not 100% happy with the set up as an allrounder. I had similar feelings last time I had it built. I think the bars, stem or both are wrong, so i'm going to have to have a play.
bing
Think stuntman terry runs a 90x35 and tactics on his hex, seems to do quite a bit of tgs stuff on it as well
LEON
I'd say the front's too low, looks good though.
Mark W
Yeah, I'd go with that as being the issue too. On old school bikes you could get away with low/long stems, but with the greater BB rise on the Hex you need to bring the bars up a bit to get it to feel a bit more lively. A 90x35 stem and/or some higher rise bars would probably do the trick.
Ross McArthur
I'm split on the matte forks with gloss frame. Not sure whether I like it or not. Echo what peeps are saying. Higher front end required. Nice build other wise.
Mikee
I'm split on the matte forks with gloss frame. Not sure whether I like it or not. It's not as glossy as it looks in the picture. The frame actually has quite a matte finish, but I think that because the paint is smoother than the forks, it is reflecting more light. Ross McArthur
How's the front brake? Don't see 160s on 26" that often. Edited June 11, 2015 by Ross McArthur
Mikee
It's a fantastic front brake. It isn't 160 though, it's 180.

Mark W
My eyes are so used to judging rotors on 24" wheels now that when it comes to 20" or 26" I pretty much have no clue...

Mikee
As you guys recommended, I have got a 90 x 35 stem on it now. After having a little play on the pavement outside my house just now, it does feel better. However I still think that steep stems look crap. I may have to get some new forks and go back to my hope stem with some stackers at some point. Too bad I cut down my inspired forks for my justice a while back. Mark W
I think you'll get used to the looks of it - I did after switching to a 70x35 after years of running a Hope stem. Which model did you go for?
Mikee
I have no plans for doing it soon, so I will have time to see if it does grow on me. Which model did you go for? I got the trialtech forged one. Since a lot of the parts on my bike are trialtech, I thought I would keep with the theme.
