That charger is fine, as long as each light lights up individually showing they are independently charging :) I  actualy use that charger myself.

If you are concerned about over charging just check back every half hour towards the end. Also with the LG batteries don't drain them all the way down to 0% that is not healthy for Li batteries beyond common belief as they do not have a 'memory' unlike Ni.

Good stuff. Cheers dude.

Been reading up about the SX330 V3 chip in the Sigelei and come across this

Where the specs say:

SX330 V3.JPG

Does this mean I require 30A batteries? Will the LG HG2's cut the mustard?

EDIT: I may be getting confused with maximum discharge rate and maximum continuous discharge rate.

LG H2s will be fine :) the 30A is output, batteries would be input :) 1.3A to 20A - the LGs are 30A.

Generally anything with a 20A high drain or more will be fine.

Yeah, like he said it's a 30a output device. You have two 30a capable batteries inside it so double the necessary power. Even Samsung 30q's will work, though they're only 15c. I've had or got pretty much all the worthy batteries, and the lghg2's are the best for a regulated. I have 4 sets of those on the go.

And again, your i4 charger is fine. same charging curcuit as the in d4, I use two of those. Also, I don't think the sigelei will let you drop the battery voltage past 3v each so they should be safe from depletion harm.

Coil build isn't happening yet. Just ordered some 24g and 28g kanthal A1 for different build setups as I only have 30g atm. Should be able to build between 0.3 ohm (24g, 2.5mm ID, 8/7 wraps) and 1 ohm (28g, 2.5mm ID, 8/7 wraps) on a dual coild setup. I figure that will give me good wick-coil coverage. Only gives me 37mW/mm^2 (24g) on the steam calculator, so may not get hot enough for what I need. Similar on the 1 ohm (30g) set up. May take some refinement.

The Bellus actually came with x2 coils which was nice! But I doubt I'll use them.

I can't seem to disassemble the Bellus completely. cannot remove the glass section because I can't separate the chimney for some reason. Watched some youtube videos and they just unscrew it. But i can't get the bugger to budge and I don't want to f**k the glass trying whilst it doesn't even matter.

.3 fair enough, but up to 1ohm?! Sure the battery will last longer but it's a 100w 8.5v device, that's only 70ish watts you can use max'd out at 1ohm.  I dont think you'll get either the flavour or cloudage it deserves. Perhaps I'm wrong though, it's been a while since I built that high. (Unless you mean 2×1ohm coils?)

Either way, Id be more inclined to go for 4-6 wraps at 2.2-2.5mm of 24awg, aiming to be around .2 or .3 like you said. It'll be a non stressed 60-80w with quick ramp up time and deliver great flavour and very modest clouds ;) while keeping good battery life. Luckily the bellus has the big side air flow and large juice channels for just such an occasion :)

don't rule out going down as low as .1 for some serious vaping cloud madness (Y)

I dunno, ego one mini used to leak. Kanger with vertical, horizontal and the rebuildable atomizer all leaked. Now this is too.

Ignore the gunk on the cotton, some rank juice I won't be using again.

Any tips?

Yes, I did mean 2 x 1 ohm i.e. 0.5 overall resistance.

However, I am currently about 1-1.3ohm (Single coil) set up depending on coil and that has been fine for ages, just want the extra battery. Hence buying a mod with x2 battery slots.

But I do want the option to go low and I will be starting with this, if the batteries don't last me long enough for my lifestyle, I will back it off somewhat. The mod has said not to take it below 0.15 ohm so I guess that is my limit to begin with, but I was thinking 0.3 and go from there. Sub ohm resistance is difficult to measure, so don't want to take it too far to begin with. However I have done the calculations and should be fine for 0.3ohm.

I'll be using either 2 or 2.5mm coils as they are the dia of the turning tools I have.

Not that interested in massive clouds. I often use this whilst driving. Need to see. I am using a 60:40 mix atm, Might go further towards 100% PG to reduce clouds if they are offensive to my vision.

I love the design of the Bellus, can't find a bad point so far, based on design. Not 100% sure how to remove the glass yet, but I'll cross that bridge when I need to.

And yeah, that juice has made that setup look rank!

Cheers, Ash

Looks like the cotton is barely filling the channels. I have cotton running down the entire channel on my Goblin and no leaks at all.

OK so that took longer than I thought.

Firstly my coil generally covers the whole width of the air hole. This is so the wick isn't in direct path of the airflow. No juice sucked out of the wick then deposited in the chimney then ran down into the air intake means less chance of weeping.

20151112_200516.thumb.jpg.29d7232ff0171e

Then I wallop some nice straight cotton in, not too tight. Leaving about 4-5mm tails either end. (I did trim them after the pic)20151112_201002.thumb.jpg.a9e99a03ea1c59

Then push on the coil housing/lower chimney, leaving a little cotton sticking out. Line up the threads and push the cotton into the juice wells.

The wick should sit on a ledge half way up the channel.

Screw it down a few turns, back one, then down a few more, then back one until it's tight. Just so the wick isn't trapped by the threads.

Juice, screw the tank on and vape happy20151112_201852.thumb.jpg.c5f38c4e013c76

My wire arrived today so I started building!

All the batteries on charge, now all 100%

12250076_10153689676324431_7030653355337

Wrapped my first 24g coils. So much easier than 30g! Much less spring back.

12235087_10153689676384431_2241415458379

12243214_10153689676454431_6426205506079

Firing them up and repositioning...

12249761_10153689676654431_5194289089427

Wicked

12208754_10153689676839431_8770124366702

Trimmed...

12208609_10153689676999431_8750083689752

I then wet the wick and positioned it where I wanted.

Assembled and filled and here we are.

12227182_10153689677069431_4066041869621

Firing on 50W, seems to be about right for me for now at 0.3 ohm. This is the first puff.

12247061_10153689677139431_7282075408136

Now proceeded to go all the way up to 100W. Bit much maybe...

Either way, very happy with it. Cheers for the advice guys.

Cheers, Ash
