Reverb Dropper Issue

Recommended Posts

My new (ish) bike came with a Reverb Dropper post, which was great when it worked, not so great when it doesn't. It has stopped coming up when I press the lever on the handlebar. It will pull up by hand, but sucks straight back down when let go, as if it has created a vacuum. I have checked the air pressure which is at the relevant 250psi. Will bleeding the system fix my issue? I know f**k all about them and hoping to head up to Scotland on Thursday so need to ideally get it sorted tomorrow!!

I have a reverb that is currently off at Loco Tuning to sort this.

It has already been back to Loco about 3 months ago for the same problem.

Unfortunately mine needed a new internals kit as air was escaping back through the internal seal and didn't allow it to hold air. It got sorted, then did the same thing recently so Loco are sending it back to RS to check the tolerances on the internals.

So yeah, worth trying a bleed as its about £90 all in for Loco to sort it but it sounds like the internals might be shot :(
