Holroyd teaches you to tap on his Pace. Wish I had the article where he did that huge drop on the same trip!

Was Ashton's frame quite short or is it just the angle of the photos that make it look that way?

They got progressively longer, higher and slacker.

The silver one was 1020ish WB.

In saying that, they didn't get slacker till the mk3 protos when Ali got his say. Better for roll downs I seem to remember. ^_^

Black with red graphics and red seat was always my favourite.

I didn't know that Orange were involved in the Ashton products.

Going back to the geometry side of things, does anyone know what the wheelbase of the old Cannondales Martyn used to ride were?

Great topic, cheers for going to the trouble of posting.

Is it me or did trials used to be ‘cooler’ for want of a better word and a bit more raw back in the day?

Hip hop was after my time

Really makes me want a 26 with a seat reading these, watched GET2 the other day and was wondering what half these guys are doing nowadays?

Is Jack Meek still a brand or has he turned back into a person?? Sure I saw he was doing something like landscape gardening???

Less trials, more MTB nowadays - probably still has a rig, but the scene died out in Reading a little while back
