Trials park/course design

I'm in talks with my local council about redeveloping an old BMX track (now flattened). It's a pretty big site, 50x100m (football pitch)

I'm hoping to make it a multi use bike "park" with Tarmac pumptrack, MTB skills area and a trials section.

Any ideas for the trials section? I'm thinking concrete pipes, big rocks etc. I want to make sure it's hard wearing.

If you're looking for example images to use, I'd probably find some of one of the trials parks in the UK or Europe rather than the photo above.  Main reason is that the battered car and fairly 'rough' looking pipes don't look great, and that might put the council off.  Places like Biketrial Academy UK or the trials parks over in Spain might be a better reference, and also give you some more ideas.

Concrete pipes and rocks are a fairly safe bet.  Lee Quarry have a few concrete sleepers that are versatile as well as being really hard wearing:  P1010953.jpg

Maybe instead of a battered old car you could get a concrete moulded version of a car made :)
This is a very good project you're doing, I'd like to ask how you approached your council with this, e.g. did you write a letter, or contact someone, write a business plan? I'm interested in a similar thing near where I live but never really was sure how to approach it, who o speak to. Any advice on this would be welcome.
Making trials type areas for all skill levels will be good if that can be added.

I think it would be useful if your site has some kind of cover, for the wet days, :)
