Onza tyke for a starter bike

My son wants to get into trials. I don’t want to spent too much on one yet just in case he gives up quickly. He’s 5ft 9 and just under 13st. I’ve been offered this bike for £115. I’ve been told it’s a 2015 model and that the geometry specs are

Wheelbase 995mm
 BB + 55mm
 Rear construction 355mm
 Head angle 71 °

Would this be a good bike to start him out on

Thanks

Yeah it's a decent enough starter bike but the only downside is it's not very upgrade friendly.

If he got into it you'd be looking at upgrading to a slightly better bike with 19" rear wheel and the option for hydraulic rim/disc brakes but at that price I can't imagine you'd lose much money selling especially on something like ebay.

Or you could outlay a bit more to start with and buy a bike with 19" wheel and decent brakes which if he gets into it would last longer with the potential for upgrades.

Depends how much you want to spend.
