My new (to me) Inspired Fourplay Team (2019)

I haven't ridden trials since around 2001, this Fourplay is a far Cry from the old modified jump bikes I used to ride with, very twitchy and wants to throw me over the bars all the time (steeper head tube angle than I'm used to). I need to put some hours in in my garden to at least get comfortable on it before I hit the streets in public and look like a right pleb.

Spec is just standard Team spec with Magura MT7's.

For reference this is what I rode street trials on back in about 1997 (Azonic DS-1 custom build):

Just noticed my pedals have cap screws in, they're not standard right? Should they have grub screws in for maximum shin damage? Slipped off the pedal once already today and caught my shin, wondering if these shiny cap screws are causing a loss of grip?

Looks a nice bike, cool pics too!

yes the bolts will definitely not be as grippy as the proper pins.

I’d suggest getting the grub screw alternatives:

Thanks, I actually just robbed the grub screws out of my pedlas on my MTB and it's already much better. I'll get some ordered anyway because I'll still need some obviously.
