Yep, just tried to clean up some footage I have on my PC <_< .

so before I loose everything in a major windows crash :ermm: ... I am compiling some vids

Though, with movie maker, my PC crashes for any project longer than 2mn.

So here is the first release, the first round at the Cycle Show. Nothing to download, just streaming from the page. Enjoy. B)

not bad mr julian, quality could of been better but the riding was kickas

Ben

Thanks Ben,

Any suggestions to improve the quality (do you mean the picture quality or the framing and angles of view?) The problem is my PC crashes like 4 times for every video I make :S , hence, I tend to do minimal editing ^_^ .

What else could I use to my footage? The files are AVI.

Also, I don't have a wide angle, so I can't film from too close for these nice follow up effects.

Any comments welcome

I plan to do more vids if I find an easier way to edit footage for longer runs. It's just too plain difficult at the moment.

I think you were recompressing compressed video there which is why it looked a bit ropey. You should always work from uncompressed footage (if you've got it).

Come round and steal some better software - I've got loads...

Alright, I'll give a try at other software. But I think I need more RAM on my PC.

Here is a cleaner version in 1mn cuts.

with some extra material first round outside

Then second round outside

and the indoor sections (new footage (Y) )

Is it any better? It takes about 4mn to have the videos playing in the page.

yep - think so. looks fairly crispy to me

yupyup more memory. bump it up to at least a gigabyte - it costs bugger all

ill give you premiere if you help me move house

:P

OK, will check my memory sometime when I clean my PC.

I could help you move (tonight, but not on sunday B) and not most of Saturday cause I am also doing boxes for my own move... ).

Else, this is the Cycle Show, the guy does the back flip and lands on his feet. But I had cut the video after the front flip because I didn't know the other would do that... :shifty:
