ChrisP
Hi i'm trying to get up onto the back wheel but i noticed when i pull up i always tend to go from 50-50 with the pedals to having my right foot at 6 o'clock and my left foot up at 12. What am i doing wrong? Also is 'backhop' hopping on the spot backwards or hopping on the back wheel?
BIG L
Sounds to me you are leaning to far backwards so your foot automaticly trys to come up and counter balance you. And back hopping is hopping backwards Edited July 29, 2006 by BIG L
PaRtZ
Might sound a bit scary but try this:Start from 2 wheelsWith your favourite foot forwards, turn the pedals back slightlyNow let go of the rear brake and pedal kick very slightly to bring the front upThen brake again and hopefully your feet should be in the right position
ManxTrialSpaz
You'll find your feet are like that as your going up with the backwheel locked, which means, the bikes coming up with your cranks int he same postion which leaves them in a crap position. The trick to keep them level is going up as Partz said and you'll be fine Edited July 29, 2006 by ManxTrialSpaz
ChrisP
Is it better to learn to get up using the pedal kick rather than the endo? When i tried to do it with the pedals I found that once I pulled the brake the bike would just fall back forwards onto the front wheel.Just to make it easier which gear should i use? I have 3 gears at the crank and 8 on the rear wheel. Edited July 29, 2006 by ChrisP
