Concussion
I've got an Onza T-rex...I like it, but that new bike feeling is in the air, and I was just wondering what's the deal with all the other mad frames I see at Tarty's ....raised bb`s and high stems / cut-away head tubes / CNC'd chainstays / etc, etc .....I love them !So.... does anyone wanna do me a list...kinda in the following order? Much appreciated 1. Pretty Similar :2. The Next Step :3. Who You Kiddin :or any other advise regarding next gen stock frames? I'm kinda still new to trials.... and I live in a cave. Thanks.Oh` PS: STOCK, STOCK ! Edited July 31, 2006 by Concussion

Others may disagree but hopefully that will give you some idea. The main factor i was working with was BB rise because it is the thing that varies the most for frame to frame these days My advice would be go for one of the 'next step frames' because the high BB rise you either love them or you hate them, and it would be a shame if you hated one you bought... Having said that, i love my Czar Ivan because i have made a point of sticking with it, and not giving up at the first hurdle like everyone else did with high bb rise bikes. Danny Kearns
Hey dude, My honest opinion would be a "Echo Control 05" or "Adamant A1".I have rode both, they both ride exceptionly nice, the control feels similar to the t-rex, but just stiffer.Dan. MikeCottTrials
dont listen to all the crap about high bb frames, i decided to just go for it and get a stock GU with +60 bb rise. it came to my first ride and i have to admit it felt wierdbut after about 10 mins i was back to the level i was before and within a few days i had improved on my old skills. i can now do everything to a much higher level than before plus the high bb frames look bangin mate . if you want my advice go for something like the adamant a1 or the gu

Davey
I agree, my Echo Control doesn't have the highest BB in the world but it's far higher than my old frame. It felt weird at first but after a few rides I was already a better rider than before. The extra stnadover means there's more room to tuck for those bigger moves, and you kinda start higher so seems like everything is that bit smaller.... if that makes sense!Davey
Waynio
how long wheelbase wise are you looking? do you ride street and natural?yaabaa bow 1075 wheelbase +30 bb rise bunnyhops aswell as my old 1065 caisso, very stable and controllable on the back wheel. the 385 backend gives it a nicer feel than 380 stays.iv ridden them for 5/6 months and i wouldnt change it for the world unless the Belaey Pro model carbon top tube came out, and that would only be a change for the pimpness of the carbon and the 1080 wheelbase with +25 rise.Waynio.............................personally it all depends on what sort of riding your doing and how tall you are to which fits best.
