bhups
Don't use them on a grind they won't last to long, clean rim bit of tar and one hell of a brake. To get rid of an old grind just get some sand paper and sand it smooth. Luke Rainbird
Yeah, and one hell of a noise!Got half an order through from SelectBikes today (one pair of pads... ) and just been out with themLoud as fook! Now I know some people love that, but I like it quiet as poss really, so bit annoying!Any way I can shut the buggers up?! (without losing power preferably!)
lardo_69
The reason why pads squeak is because the front of the pad is hitting the rim first, this causes a vibration making the squeak. All you need to do to solve this is to, adjust your pads so that the back hits the rim first.
monty 221PR
so zoo green pads are really good and better than monty pads?
Deonn h
Try cleaning your pads.Monty pads are actully not bad on a grind but they dont last 2 minuits.Get some plaz crm`s from tartybikes and get a light grind.
Walleee
Yeh monty's arn't that bad. Try cleaning you rim and pad's before you do anything. Get rid of all the tar and make sure the pad's are not black where they hit the rim.If they are still shit, try a new grind, and only then consider getting new pad's or applying tar.... Willsey
make sure your brake is adjusted right.. so that it is equal on either site.. so you don't get the spongy effect.. i would not recommend rubbing coke around the rims, if other people do.. its not worth it and its rubbish.. Barbra
ive got a nice deep voice, so it makes my bark really loud and often scares people.

willwithashton
I use a onza hog rim ungrinded with the yellow plazmics pads. Its a very good set-up and does not slip apart from a little in the wet.
Tim-Hill..Yeah Mate
Hello,If you want an immense brake then i think you should go for plazmatic crm pads, i run the crm's on an 06 echo rim, light and sharp grind, best slightly worn and a smidge of tar.also the pads have a very good wear rate, i got told with my grind that the crm's wouldn't last 2 weeks but its now been over a month and there is still three quarters of the pad left! if you set your pads up properly and your pads aren't hitting the rim and funny angles then your brake will be really good, then you'll get Maximum bite and stopping power. you could of just used the search, theres proprably 1 of these topics on every page!plazmatic crm pads, light sharp grind, little tar.Tim.
