  1. Use the search for info on those freewheels there's plenty of topics on them. The overall opinion seems to be:

Tensile- well made , good value for money, plenty of engagement points.

Eno- Extremely well made, get what you pay for, more engagements.

It all depends on what you want to pay for one ;)

  2. when i spin the cranks round i can see the freewheel goin from side to side is this the reason for it creaking, is it stressing the freewheel, is there anyhting to help stop it, or just buy a descent freewheel?

I have a tensile freewheel and mine still moves from side to side a bit, i can see why you want to stop this it annoys me too as the chain goes from slightly slack to tight. But i think this is a common problem with front freewheel users. Are you sure the creaking isn't coming from your bottom bracket area? It is most likely that you need to take you cranks off and put some grease (not loads) on the tapers where the cranks sit. This got rid of my creaking but in the end i just got a new Bottom bracket. To take the cranks off you need a tool called a crank extractor. But yea i would get a decent freewheel ( tensile ) :)

    This may help: Freewheel topic

  3. No proper tools needed, just a screwdriver and hammer, you hammer the lockring anti clockwise I think, someone will back me up on this. It's the ring on the inner side of the freewheel with the 2 notches out, use 1 to put a screwdriver in and hammer it, thus turning it.

Anti-clockwise is the correct way (Y) i found that when i was using an ACS it needed tightening pretty much after every ride, just check it regularly. Also If i remember correctly when my chain was very tight it kept causing the lockring to come un-done so just don't have it too tight.

  5. Hi,

I'm looking to get some new forks for my t-pro as i'm not a fan of the straight forks that it comes with and much prefer the feeling of curved forks. I have also heard that they are heavy compared to other forks. I was thinking about getting:

    Ko bikes-m1,

    Echo lites,

    Viz curved,

Possibly Koxx forks ( most expensive >_< )

I need them to have 4 bolt mounts as i don't want to fork out more cash on a disk brake. I have used the search but there isn't any info on the Ko-bikes forks ( most probably because they have just come out ) . Please could you give reasons why or why i shouldn't get any the forks listed above, or suggest some other 20" curved forks.

    Any help appreciated.

  6. Just make your own...tie a metal tea tray to your downtube..should work :)

    zoo baby!

Haha what a bodge, I'm sure that would look really nice :S

I was looking to get one of those Armourdillo's but i think they stopped making them, i don't see why some other company doesn't start making them as they were pretty sucessful (i think). Probably try and make my own if i get desperate, just get some of those plastic rods, cut up an old wetsuit and zip tye it to the frame :-
