  1. I should be getting some new trainers this weekend. If anyone has any suggestions on what are comfortable, affordable and durableable trianners for riding please could you point me in the right direction. My budget is in the £50-£60 region.

    Thank you

  2. Thought i'd get some pics up before i recieve my new shit from the source: S&M thin seat, Fit OG grips (yeah thats right haha, new seat).

Last weekend 'cause of the rain i decided to do some weight whoring so yeah got some pics up of that :P . Also cut the seat tube down as well so the seat sits lower.

    Anyway on with the pictures:

Drilled out the guts and seat clamp, all the top peice with the notches that clamps onto the inner peices are drilled out as well but i couldnt be botherd to strip it to take pictures of it all.

Removed the reflector mounts on the pedals, removed the replaceable pins, then drilled holes in the pedal body ( i do know they won't be strong, but i'm a light rider, and pedals are the next thing on the list anyway)

Drilled the seat post out, and removed the taper at the top so it can be fully slammed.

*next update when the new seat and grips arrive*

Your bike is looking nice as ever, although i think you went a bit over the top with the drilling craze.

  4. The v2 is a decent chain ( But a bit too pricey). I had mine for a few months and had zero problems with it. Like poopipe clearly said it should just take any standard chain tool mine did worked fine. Altough after while i broke chain tool as pins are quite strong and put stress on the cheap bit of metal causing it to bend, Then again it could be me as im not very good at bike assembly.

  5. Lmao, nah that bbq is shit hot, had some good summer parties with that, plus it's my dad's haha.

Nah but seriously cheers (Y) , and if i do ever think about it i will remember you.

On that note, i still havent got recent pictures of the flipped stem, and i'm half way through adding a brake back on for a bit (maybe). Also anyone with me on getting rid of the sunday stickers?

Nice bike truely magnificent i took the stickers off my sunday and it looks so much better you should remove yours.

  8. Personally i would have stuck with the zoo stem because i prefer the looks and i have used a zoo stem and a monty stem and i would say that the zoo felt better and there the fact that the zoo ones is cheaper. So i think that the swap overall was'nt a wise choice in my opion although it was wise on the money side of things but at the edn of the dasy its up to you what you do.

  9. I would personally say that it is not the bike it is just the rider and feel that weight has very little part to play in trials and how good you are and what your capable of doing weather it be a side hop or drop gap and so on.

Although it is practical to a reasonable amount of weight on the bike. But personally i feel it doesn't have much of an affect on me because i don't tend to think about things like that when im riding.

  10. This is a similar topic to which is better mod 20'' or stock 26'' which is a bit of a dead end question and personily i belive is down to personal preference. In answer to you question i would say im more of a street person but only because the people i ride with do more street than natural and the fact that there isnt alot of natural were we live anyway.
