I used to use an avid sd7 with a xtr lever and oddyssey linear bmx cable. Ah and plazmatics pads also cleaning your rim now and again improves braking performance .I found any way

i use koxx browns with a medium grind works pretty well if you want a sharp feeling just add a bit of tar -
