  1. to get my hands on tar just look on the joins in the pavement or road (not a busy one trust me) and scrape it off with a screw driver then melt it down on an old tin or somthing with a lighter/blow tourch then wen it goes sticky roll it up and hey presto you have yorself some tar. if its not going on your rim spin your wheel realy fast whilst holding the bike up by the frame and push the block of tar onto the rim hard and repeat until your happy with the amount on your rim works for me every time. oh i forgot to say wen using this method be sure to take the stones out. if there are any unless you want a scrached rim lol
  2. I had this problem a few years back i brought a giro and it came with padding so you could make suitible ajustment and the usually have a clippy thing at the back so they fit snug. hope this helps
  3. cheers lads Ive orderd a bb7 as it seemed the best option for my money, havent quite got enough for a hope but will deffinately consider investing in one in the future but ill see how the bb7 runs first. thanks alot for your help much appreciated:D
  4. kk cheers im thinkin mabie bb7 with 187mm rotor then save up for louise or hope mono trials. however ive found a hope mono m4 on ebay are these any good for trials if so ill get one! cheers
  5. lol i thought it might be somthing to do with the rotor size i know somone who has one for sale with a 180mm do you think my forks would be safe with this? cheers
  6. well to be honest im not sure ive been on friends bikes that have a bb7 on them and they do feel nice havent had much experience with hope other than people talking about them mite go for a bb7 just woried about my forks
  7. oh dear! would a bb7 snap my typhoon forks? and if a bb7 would snap forks then why wouldnt a hope or magura?

  9. looking to buy a new front brake as i broke my old one and im not sure which one to go for i was looking to get either a new bb7 or a second hand hope m4 or trial for around the £50 mark. which one would I be better off with for use in trials? are the bb7 just as good as hydraulic? cheers

Looking to buy a new front disc as i am currently learning to gap to front wheel but i dont have alot to spend. im hopeing to get a bb7 but i wasnt sure if there was any difference in proformance between the bb5 and the bb7 ive heard the bb5 is just as powerfull as the bb7, but the bb7 is easier to set up. some of you mite have more experience with discs than me. cheers

  13. Many people have grinds but i have been riding for over a year now and i find that soft pads with a bit of tar works nicer and you dont where your brake pads down as much hope i helped
