MK5 frame I believe. Loved my one of these.

Me too... although the BB had a habit of coming off these frames... once my pedals hit the floor whilst dropping off an up to rail gap... made the move but as i landed the bb cranks etc pedals hit the floor... both seatstays had snapped as had the downtube weld to the bb...

Found I still had my old black and red mk 4... need to get my rear chris king serviced and some wheels built at some point... anyone have cd 521s unused? lol

I just refound this frame and fork! Thought it was gone! Woohoo

  3. I would love to recreate this bike. Alas this frame snapped a few years ago.

Joe the shifter was an xt believe that had a bolt from above the bar, so the thread was in the body of the shifter. I cut off the bar mount and drilled a hole in the carbon shimano booster and mounted it upside-down. Then i could shift from trials gears to park and even free coast on the spacers at will... Was great fun and out of the way...

  5. Hey has anyone cracked their ribs before? If so how long did it take to recover enough to be able to ride as its driving me mad not doing so!!

(Did it a week ago today on a mini ramp. Did an oposite feeble stall to 270 out and caught the front wheel during the 270 and got dumped about 6.5 feet to flat!! Then had to push my bike 3 miles home because I couldnt ride at all lol. Hardcore)

  6. That really does look good and the slicks seem to work great in the dry, bitch in the rain? i wouldn't want to try using them myself.

In the wet you get slides that Nicky Haden would be proud of... but my rear brake and I don't work in the rain anyway so it's all good...

  7. "New" MK 4 Frame (Thanks Paul Bedfordtrials); Back to ti glide due to wrecked Chris king and new trialtech 16t single gear, soon to be joined by a 12t for park (offsets are a bitch) and pivotal seat and post... New Plazmatic crms and new mag lever blade and new bushes in front lever and long goodridge black hose in rear... Now feels like new. Currently 25.4 lbs

  9. That weirded me the f**k out! That bike belongs to a friend of mine from back in London. I was thinking 'That shit looks really familiar', e.g. bar, stem, seat, post, cranks, sprocket, frame, etc., then it clicked - belongs to Tim, a guy who works in Evans Waterloo.

    Mark's Fact of the Day.

lol thats seriously wierd as i was also in waterloo the same day i posted it on here... hmmm

Thanks for the help and suggestions guys, shame planet x don't still make them :| I'm gonna keep looking and see what happens...

  10. the brake bosses screw in: it looks like on the underside of the seatstays, which would look nice...

"The frame has an ultra clean look thanks to the new brake pivot system (when removed there is almost no trace of pivots on the frame) and the special removable cable guide system (if you don’t want to use guides then you can remove them and get a super clean top tube and seat stays)."

I've looked at these and they are really nice frames, however, the bb is low at 12.5 on the 26 inch version so i guess the 24 would be lowish too...
