My first car was a rover 214 and Ive still got it. Ive had it over a year now and had no problems at all. Rovers are much cheaper to insure than cars such as polo's and clio's. It was £1000 cheaper to insure my 1.4i rover that it would have been to insure a 1.2 polo. Also a rover 214 fits a 221 ti on the back seats and is the perfect shape car for a bike rack.

Hey guys last weekend i put tar on my rims and it was a massive improvement.
I always thorght it was rubbish untill i actuly tried it.
What do you guys think about it.
Cheers.
Tars excellent if you dont put too much on, but if you put too much on it can make a real mess of your rims and make your brakes stick.

Id paint it black because not only will it look good but mistakes such as runs dont show as much, which makes it easier to paint.

O.k so I've finished my front cover to my media project but not happy with it but i dont know what if you get me so i thought who better to ask other than the trials comunity

I don't know the way from leeds but could you not just park your car in leeds and get the train? Would be easier.
Get the train to saltaire, ride through the park, past the school and up the tram way, then you will be there.

I have uploaded some flat gaps on youtube of me, not that bigger gap now but it was a few weeks ago!
Biff
I watched that video, its pretty good. You need to get your back wheel right to the edge though, it makes it easier.

Hello just so everyone knows if your ride a 20" bike you are aloud to ride on the pavement because your bike is classed as a childs bike and to ride on the road you need a proper seat and reflecters on your pedels and wheel so bascilly everyone is alout to ride on the pavement.
Thats great im going to tell the police that the next time i get pulled on my bike and see what happens

ok as the title says just wanted to know what every body's biggest flat to flat gap is? but it has to be like pedal hop no rolling bunnyhops if you get what im saying
cheers Pimp
My Best Gap is about 8ft from one cirb to another

My first bike was my ti... I think it only helps if you can manage to get something great in the beginning!
I think your right, I started with rubbish bikes and never realy made much progress with my riding. Then when i finaly got a decent bike I made massive progress with my riding. So having a good bike helps your riding skills in a big way

hi all, i live round newark area and theres this place with about a 5ft drop on grass and iv just got the hang of dropping and i was just wondering shall i go for it or not.
cheers jake. (Y)
I would definetly recomend wearing a helmet and checking that you back brake works well beofre going near the edge. Then be confident and go for it, dont hesitate. If you panik just as your dropping off you will definatly hurt your self.
-
the place whwre i live is so crap for biking the highest drop is bout a curb and there is no rails or side hops.ash
Try and get your self to west yorkshire, theres loads of places to ride and loads of riders to ride with. Also try and make your own trials course some how with pallets, pieces of wood, barrels and what ever else you can get hold of.

I was dirt jumping and the lip hit my back wheel up and I flew horizontal and land 4 meters away fromw my bike and landed on my head!
Is it just me or does any one else find that you hurt your self a lot more when atempting dirt jumps as appose to actual trials riding?

Bike pics threads every 2 seconds = annoying.
New sticky for bike pics = rad.
Post your bike pics in here Try and keep comments to a minimum. It's unlikely you'll get validated for going "Nice bike" or whatever, and it gets annoying getting like 2 bike per page, but 23 replies or whatever, so yeah - pics and a comment if you've actually got something worthwhile to say about them
No "Real" members post in here - you've got your own place...
Let threadage commence!
Edit: With this thread being here, bike pics threads posted elsewhere in NMC will be systematically raped.

The only main advantage the ps3 has over the xbox 360 is that it comes with a built in Blue ray drive for watching HD dvd's. But you can now buy that as an extra for the 360. The PS3 has only a slightly better spec than the 360 and since the 360 has been out much longer than the PS3 Microsoft have the rights for more games to come out on the 360 first. Like the new Grand theft auto that is coming out in October is coming out on the xbox 360 before it comes out on the PS3. Also Microsoft are a much bigger company than sony so I would defintly say that MICROSOFT are the best by far!

Start off trying to transfer from front to back on flat first. Then when you can do it on flat try it on a wall and try be confident.
