  1. Got a pic of the funny statue thing which seemed to have no apparent reason to be there... sorry for the bad quality (camera phone)!

There were little sheeps around the two big people with big butts and they were carrying watermelons...

Here are some pics of the area in Victoria Park, slightly better view but poor quality... sorry!

There are also loads of other little spots in the park (some natty and the statue thing was somewhere in the park too).

  2. Will probably go directly to the park if I take the train to Cambridge Heath.

Do you know if they allow bikes on-board replacement buses (they cancel the trains for railworks up to Royston on WE)?

Looks like it's gonna be sunny too B)

If you ask nicely I think they might, last time i went to clacton had to get off at colchester station and take a replacement bus to clacton with our bikes at the back(took off the front wheel).

  3. i'll be up for this... where is everyone going to be meeting?

How long would it take to get from Cambridge heath to the park?

EDIT: I'm going to be taking the silver link to hackney wick and riding from there to the park, just checked the maps and it's slightly less than a mile from the station.

  4. Their not 'training bikes' their still normal bikes, just smaller, not everyone is comfortable with a stock bike, for those bigger people they usually start out on a stock bike, so no, mod bikes aren't just starting out bikes. Also, some stock bikes can also be fitted with a small seat too, not just mods.

It just depends on which type of bike your more comfortable with, usually it goes with how tall you are, so if your relatively short it would be a wise choice to pick a smaller bike (like a mod) and if your taller, a bigger bike (like a stock).

    Simple.

  5. Hi, well I don't know if this is a FAQ but I'll post it here anyway...

So I've got a friend who seems to be quite interested in starting up trials (more the merrier) but his got very little to spend, just over £150 I'd say. I was wondering what would be a good beginners bike for him but still relatively cheap?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Liam

  6. Like Simpson said, a helmet is a helmet, they protect your head (hopefully), it's their job. So get the one which you think looks best.

Personally I'd pick the Hex, it looks better :P

  7. Welcome to the forum, stick to the rules, check your spelling whenever possible and be friendly to get yourself validated quicker, hopefully I'll get validated soon enough too :P

Be patient and we should all get validated :)

  8. Does it really matter which foot you use to crank hop ect...? For example weak foot / strong foot? Im right handed/footed but i use my left foot forwards. Does anyone else do this or should you use your stronger foot?(me right foot) HELP! Thanks Nigel

Yeah, I'm right handed/footed too but I put my left foot forward, when I try putting my right foot forward it just doesn't seem to work for me =\
