  1. hi there, from were i live i have to go down a really big hill to get to the nearest decent riding spot, this is were front disk comes in use. but then again front magura if set up right is a guarantied lock brake which is useful for a lot of things so i would double magura. also if you are right foot forward and you run double disc there is a lot to small up and bend in a messed up side hop. hope this helps Sam x

  2. I'm not a comp person, but as i remember there wasn't an age limit. And the two main bodies in the U.K are the UCI and BIU.

    Comp rules in brief;

    UCI rules = Cant touch obstacles with anything other than the tyres.

    BIU rules = Can touch the obstacles with things other than tires, bashplate/ ring, cranks, pedals etc..

    But in both, you can't put your foot/ hand down or you get a point (know as a "dab") added to your time/ score/ whatever you want to call it.

    Try to spell all your words correctly and use good grammar, then you will stand a better chance of being validated and using the other parts of the forum!

    I think if you put a hand down it is a 5 (were you have reached your limit in that section and have to stop).

  3. I just use skate shoes like these guy because they sort of fold around the pedal giving you maximum grip but then again they dont last very long so i am gonna get some ribbos i think well i have not heard anything bad about them .
