Hey, i had a quick search and couldent realy find much, but my try all freewheel keeps skiping every so often, and theres a creaking sound (might be my crank though). Just wondering if you think its proably dead or just in need of a good ol clean out. Its not very loud wich leads me to think theres allot of muck or grese in there. And i wanted to no if there easy to take apart and put togeather again, iv serviced a tensile before that was pritty easy but the bearings were in cages, is the same in the tryalls? and are they easy to put back togeather? Cheers Jon

Hey just asking about whats the shortest bb length i can have, when im running echo cnc cranks, an echo bash and a tensile freewheel, iv got a 113 and obiously thats way to short, i can get hold of a 118 but im not sure it will be long enouth. I no a 128 would be good but only place i can find is tarty for like 40 bob. so i was wondering if any 1 could give me advice on bb would be best Cheers Jon
-
Hey iv got an 08 version, i found it was spongy at first because the caliper was flexing. But after a refaced it and set the pads up differently it feels mint now locks like a bitch and has lots of modulation just as good as my old 07 .
-
When you buy a disk brake it will always come with an adapter to bring it up to the right size so no worries there.
-
Hey, i would recommend the avid bb7, Although the hope monos and tyall hyraulic disk are pritty good. They are expensive and allot harder to set up and maintian, The bb7 is pritty simple but bloody powerfull. And cost around 45 quid new. As for sizes i would say it depends on what you ride and how you ride, but personaly i would go for a 185 as its not to big to get in the way, and still looks sick
-
Try running it with out putting it trought the star nut, so theres no cinks or bends atall, maybe even try a new cable. So you can see if the cable is the problem, also like said above, water works a treat

Hey, thanks for all your replys i have decided to do as the person above has advised, and am going to drill at either end of the crack, then i have a family freind that can tig weld, And has offerd to do that for me Then i will just keep riding it untill eva it snaps, or i can afford to get a new frame
-
Well after a stupid accident involving a pole and me getting pritty hurt, i put a big dent in frame the other day, didnt rly look at it much as i was so pissed of, but after inspecting it today i found its cracked now i dnt realy no much about cracks but im pritty sure its screwd Oh yea its a koxx levelboss, rest of the frame is mint, just this bit.. Got the pics below, but i duno what to do, i dnt think its all the way trough the metal, and was hoping it was just the surface that has cracked but i dout it.. I was in the middle of swapping it with some 1, but after finding the crack i obviously cant do that. I realy cant afford to buy a new frame as i realy need to save for a car and have spent way to much on my bikes recently. You think the whole bikes gona snap? Ne chance of being able to weld it? (although i no of absolutly no 1 that welds round here) Im gussing theres no chance of selling it for anything near a decent price eva Ne idears on what i should do?

Hey i had this, try leaving the bolt on ur caliper in, then pump water in to the lever with the syringe, this pushes the piston out to the max worked a treat for me. (make sure u do the rest of the bleed aswell.)
-
Ahh its easy enoth to do, just skip some holes I ended up with a few longer spokes that stuck out, so i cut them down shorter tehe
