hi there im getting a pashley ghz frame n forks a echo 07 rear rim some plaz pads pro 2 hobs and an avid bb7 so my bike should be rumming mint after x-mas as it will be a bit of an upgrade fram my sarecen mad lol (the shitest frames around)

  4. I have a Pashley 26MHz frame and fork all in pretty excellent condition. I think this is a reasonably rare one as the manufacturers card i have with it states it is frame number 75.

I have built it up with odds and ends I have lying around, but it still has some okay DMR and X-lite bits on it.

As a ball park figure how much do you think it would be worth?? I'm guessing over £100?

    Cheers

hi there mate im after a pashles so could you post a pic of it please thanks mad rider

  6. Welcome to the foum mate. Just checked out your videos, you're a wee lad eh, heheh.

Aberdeen, just up the road from Ben Travis, but you probably knew that.

Keep an eye on your spelling, punctuation and grammar, be nice and helpfull and all that and things should go well.

    Have fun.

welcome to the forum. i could not put it eney better my self just be nice to people/good grammer/spelling and just be help full.

  7. It depends on how much street is going to be done on it and how much normal riding is going to be done as you dont want something with really bad geomtry for street and you dont want something long and low with a gear ratio like 18:12 ETC i would personally suggest getting something like a leeson or a giant, give clive a ring

Edit: ignore the bit about gear ratio's, didnt know you were only after a frame :$

hi there i had a dmr trailstar for about a year and i used it for street /trials it was a very good allrounder but try and get the trailstar 1 because the trailstar 2 is not as strong and its heaver. i hope this helps

  8. hi there i have just got my zoo python 07 (short) it rides mint and feeles realy nice on the back wheel. its is also light and very strong. there is no flexing of the frame with a rear magura hs33 and it looks nice to i carn't find a folt on it. its so good i hope this helps

  9. i dont think many people have them because of there looks, ive ridden one and it ridden rather nicely, but i think the frame design was a bit to much,

unfortunatly i cant tell you anything about strength:(

if i was you id go for the toxin 1 frame, there proven and they ride evern better than the toxin 2

check out selectbikes.com, they have a few clearance frames going cheap, give them a call im sure they have them their just not on there site.

thanks for your help mate i will have a look now

  10. Hi all,

Just thought it might be a good idea to maybe do something for Children in Need. Maybe something like a sponsored ride around London or Birmingham?

Somewhere where it would be noticed. Would be good to get the sport out there and a bit more well known, to get more people in to the sport and to raise

money for a good cause. It's just ideas and thoughts at the moment, thanks for taking the time to read this. and if you've got any ideas or opinions they'd be greatly appreciated.

    thanks again

    Mitch

yes i would be up for a sponsered jide around birmingham

  11. looking to buy a new front brake as i broke my old one and im not sure which one to go for i was looking to get either a new bb7 or a second hand hope m4 or trial for around the £50 mark. which one would I be better off with for use in trials? are the bb7 just as good as hydraulic?

    cheers :D

hi there my friend runs a avid bb7 and i had a mono trials i thought that the avid bb7 was the better brake because you could set it just how you wonted it and it was more powedful aswell.

  12. hi there i have a sarecen mad 06 team issue they are very light and stronger then people think im 15 and i think it is an easy bike to learn on. but i am selling it now to get a new frame but i would recomend a sarenen mad. don't let the name fool you they are very good.

  13. Hello, if I am right, the cranks have a Tensile freewheel and then a bashring (which you are trying to remove). What you need to do is remove the freewheel!

To do this, take the driveside crank off the bike, and lock it into a vice with the inner side facing upwards, find yourself a bottom bracket tool, slot it into the freewheel, and

then loosen the freewheel off, it just unscrews but will need alot of pushing.

    i hope this helps jordan
