  1. I didn't say it would snap. I said it's either going to snap or it must weigh a ton because it isn't a triangular design and hasn't been professionally designed so the only way it wouldn't snap is if it weighed a lot more than your standard frame.

It's awesome that you've actually made a frame though! (Y)

    Thanks :turned:

Yeah Dude ! Nice to see you arround TF ,, far far away from our BTT haha but it´s nice ,,, post some pics of the snnaped fork !! i like the frame !! we now how hard it´s get a real trials bike here in Argentina !! ,,,Saludos putaso !! jajaja

How much weight ¿? like a ton ¿? or a ton and a half ¿? ajjajajaja joke joke !

    How are U putin??? lol

I don´t want to put pics of the snapped fork hahaha...

Yes, i´ts very hard, soon I will buy a marino frame and fork...

I have a new fork for the 24 now, so soon I´m going to put something more :shifty:

    See U trolo ;)

  2. Mine's pretty solid, it's not light which helps, a light steel frame like a norco will flex alot more.

My steel frame weights like 4kg, so i think than a frame than weights a bit more than the half, will be great, an if it´s solid, it´s a lot better :turned: ...

it´s solid like an aluminium frame or similar to it??

  3. Hello, I made this topic because I want to know how good are the marino steel frames...

I want to know if they are stiff and hard, because I have a steel frame than is flexy, and I don´t want to buy something too flexy...

I want to know that, because I want to buy a marino frame in the next weeks...

So, the marino frames are harder or, because they´re made from steel, are flexy like another steel frame??

    Thanks to everyone :turned:

  4. It'll either snap very quickly, or if not it must weigh a ton!

Im sure than it will last a long time...because it weights a ton! :shifty:

I don´t know how much it weights, but im sure than its pretty heavy :turned:

Im sure theyre not 24in wheels?

Something is wrong with your eyes

No seriously, it´s a 24 in all sense... If you don´t believe me, I can take a picture of the Tyre than says 24" ^_^

  5. Hello guys, I´m doing this topic because I want to show you my last invent, the LTD Tank 24"...

So, this is my project, a real geo 24" steel home made frame and fork...

It´s called TANK because of his strength and weight :giggle:

    The spec is:

    WB: 1055mm

    Chainstays: 357 mm

    BB height: +6 (+8 with a 26" fork)

    Head angle: 72º

    Fork: 385mm

    So, that´s it...

Here you have the pictures of it:

    Thanks and good luck :turned:

  6. I think than that is a very very good frame, but because it´s all so silver, it looks horrendous, but I think than the same frame in a black colour, or another combination would be great, but they have a point, they do a very very good frame for 24 trials... the WB is long, the Bb is high, and the chainstay is very very short, and I think than that is great!!!

If you ask me, I would be very happy if some day I can test that frame or buy one of it, because I´m finishing a 24 frame in steel with a very very similar geo, and I like to see, than someone is putting an effort to the 24 TRIALS bikes, not a 26 inch adapted, or a street frame with a couple of mods...

Change the colour, put it on sale, and I will buy one!!!

    BSRT_2_.jpg

    BSRT_4_.jpg

Who thinks than that is ugly???? :shifty:

    Thanks to Tribal Zine!!!

  7. Hello guys, I´m very disappointed because I still being a pre member for a long time, only because a mistake, and then, more than a half year later, I still in the same place, and I want to participate more on the forum, but I can´t do it because of that...

Is there any possible solution, or I have to pay all my trials life for a tiny mistake???

    thanks

  8. right basically i have a gu typhoon as my street bike but i am starting to do alot of competitions soon so i would like to know which frame to get with rear disk mounts don't want to spend that much really just wanted to know if anyone had and tips on any nice riding frames (not to short)

yo can go for an onza limey, monty 221 kamel or koxx sky...

    or....

    drill your frame :turned:

    Good luck (Y)

  9. i have watched the tarty video but still cant decide on wheel size because then say that 20" is best for beginners but 26" is good for people coming from mountain biking and i am both of them.

so what difference does the wheel size actually make in terms of riding and technique and difficulty to learn ?

I ride both, and I can tell you, than in a 20, you can learn faster and better, and in a 26, you will learn a bit slower, but, when you get it, is very good.

If the wheel is smaller, and the chainstays are accord to the wheel size, it will be more controlable, but the 26 is more "stable" in thin surfaces, and is more technical, I think.

I hope than it help you.

  10. Seeming that i am on half term im gunna have alot of spare time and i fault it would be funny to hear or you funny/painful accidents when you have had whilist riding

E.g- i was on about a 4FT wall and i was doing a endo side drop..only a small wall but it was very wet and muddy..i did the endo and brang the bike out...i went to pull away from the wall and my front wheel got stuck..my feet were stuck to the pedals and i just landed flat on my ass...i havnt been able to ride for about 6 days now and have a huge bruise on my leg..

If you have any funny accidents put them on here !

    Thanks

Doing a front wheel gap, the bike slip, and the rear wheel kick my butt :(

  11. Hi,

I have noticed that there is an Onza blade for sale with wheels, Is this good one for a newbie, I currently have an 02 T-bird with hydraulic brakes and the rest is standard, been wanting to upgrade, so the questions begin.

1/Is this a good frame for a newbie

    2/Will my forks fit

    3/Will my crank fit

    Thanks in advance.

    AL

sure, but see if the 19 inch wheel fits good....:)

  12. Hello guys, i made this topic because, i have money to build a 24 tgs bike, and a 26 tgs bike but...i don´t know what build!!!!

i think than the 26 is better for me, and cheaper too, but the 24 is more strong and light....

what do yo say about it???

    TXS :)

  13. hi just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem as me ....

i built up a onza limey 20 " frame and i have a kmc chain on it . but as it goes round it touches the frame and is gradually wearing through the frame .

    any ideas or suggestions ?

    thanks

    chris

put some tube to it in that zone, be carefuly, some chains eat the chainstays :|

  14. Hi

I am fairly new to trials, and am not sure what i should perhaps change on this bike, yes i know it's a little vague but oh well! Any suggestions i would be happy with. (:

    Here's the spec.

"adamant a3 short really good condition no dents just a couple of scratches

    front echo wheel cnc rim

    rear profile on ronnie rim

    trialtech cranks and sprocket

    bionic bash

    zhi forks(same as lites)

    cane creak headset

    team stem

tryall bb the cups are pretty mashed but the bb still works, will be able to get it out with a pipe wrench though

    random riser bars

think thats it for the spec of the bike

    cnc phat pads

    echo tr mounts

    duel maggies"

Here's a link to the page with full spec + piccys : http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....141365&st=0

    Harry (:

    fine 4 me :)

  15. Hey all, Does anyone know of any tips or tricks to prevent brake slipping when wet if you have tarred rims?

My brakes find it humerous to slip at the most inapropriate moments and it's not very entertaining to be honest.

I've tarred my rims nicely and haven't grinded them if that helps.

Would i need to grind instead or as well? Or are there any other ways to stop this?

Thanks for any help in advance.

in my case, the water clean the rim, so i have to put tar in the rim again, but it brakes....

  16. i have been looking at some trials bikes and have noticed that some of the levers are the wong way, front on the left and back on the right. whats up with that ? is it just a mistake thing or do some people ride like that ?

some ridres use the lever in the opposite side, because they are left handed (i´m left handed but i don´t use the lever in the opposite place), or because they like it more in that way.
