  1. Hello
to be understood, watch the video, I not only stop, jump on.
and not closed, with all my weight
is flexible, like a spring, or a car dock, which flexes and returns to your site.
Josh please, for closed, I want do the same on your Frame, and see if you do not need the heat treatment.
I hope to see a video. Like jumping with his frame.
also take an old steel frame which sold for long.
but I think it's time to improve quality.
the results will be seen in some years.
a picture is worth more than my translator.
    best regards.

  2. At the end of the day Dave, there's obviously a reason that he's heat treating them, but from all my reaserch into the matter (wayyy too much time btw :P) it really shouldn't be needed.

If you can get a specific reason as to why he's doing it then go ahead with it, but I think you'll end up with more problems than if it wasn't treated.

    Hello Josh.

    please look this link:

    http://www.netwelding.com/Heat_Treated_4130.htm

all BMX frames use Heat treatment, aluminum use heat treatment koxx, monty, DH INTENSE and more..

is more strong, im use CR-MO 4130 doble butted,

the welding heat affected part, the treatment all uniformly homogenized.
to a certain hardness in HRC.
Thanks for viewing my work, I am freer to resume my orders, full custom.

  3. Hello.
Marino'm not using the forum, my last visit was in 2010, I do not want to advertise virtual.
so I asked Peter not to make any post.
is true that I am very late, I can not justify my poor service.
I'm in touch with my clients they have provided the appropriate apologies, I make trial, and start with trial frame.
but now I do many modalities, my works are 100% hand-design using programs like e BIKECAD, is a job that requires time, I realize most of the process personally.
not easy to get someone to make plans cuts each client changes the whole configuration of the arrays.
Use pipe of 0.7, 0.8, 0.9mm and not as easy soldering these measures.
you can see the improvements in dropouts, laser cut, bolt tensioner incluided, brake guides, heat treatment, such as BMX (delay and depend on other company that provides this service)
unfortunately I had overworked, but I have solved my problems.
I will not use this forum for advertising, my only advertising are my sponsored riders.
Thanks for your time, sorry use google translator.
