  1. Hey guys. I grew up riding a really light kuwahara bmx. After not having ridden for a lonngg time, now i sort of feel like a giant on a tiny little bmx frame. I've always been about balance when i rode, so i know i will love trials bikes. I'm justtt getting back into the scene so forgive my noobness. There aren't any trials bikes at the shops around here for me to try out. The only thing i'm worried about is that i have about a 10 minute bike ride to the train station daily, or a 30-40 minute ride if i dont take the train, and the chainwheel on mod trials bikes is so small! Do you have to peddle a hectic amount to get any speed? is it feasable to get a singlespeed mod bike if i'm doin a commute? I'm 5'11, 155lbs. I love light bikes...the lighter the better. I'd prefer singlespeed but if you have to peddle a zillion times a second to get anywhere i'd consider otherwise. i come from street bmx, i like to just sit back and cruise sometimes. This makes me want a bike with a seat, that i can cruise decently comfortably on. I pretty much think every trials bike i see is awesome, but i'm weary of the chainwheel size and the bike needs a seat! I'd likely put a longer seat stem into some of the ones i've seen, and maybe kick it to a little bigger chainwheel if i get a 'mod' 20" wheel bike. Price range...up to $1500cdn. I'd rather spend around $900 though. I'm a total noob to this, is what i'm asking feasable??
