Does the bike have a Profile mini on the rear wheel?
It kind of looks like one in those pics.
If it does, it will go for alot more than you expect

It's normal... seriously.
Pretty much always the case with bashplates. The older bashplate models like on the old T-Pros, 2004 Python, Koxx Levelboss, Monty frames... those have a slight little bit sticking further out on the right side of the bashplate.. But I think the newer gen bashplates don't really bother with this
It's fine because imagine smashing the bashplate on a wall... it's not going to hit the freewheel despite how far right it is because the bashplate is a stopper that prevents the freewheel from being touched. You may hit the freewheel if you land at a really odd ODD angle.. however, straight-on, it's not gonna hit.
*** Unless of course, your current bashplate was so mashed by the previous owner that it has receded towards the BB shell somehow?
In any normal case, your freewheel should be protected.
Post some pictures up and I'll be able to help out more.
Its just on stuff like when i go up to frount and swing the back end round and the rear wheel slips off.
-
Just weight as far as i'm aware. Have you got all the Spacers and stuff on the bash plate ?
Yer it on proply but the freewheel is too far right for the plate to cover
-
I've just recently got a czar mod and the bash plates doesn't cover the freewheel so it sometimes get hit when i slip on to the bash guard do whats the advantages of a half ring except weight?
-
Does any one want it?
-
Somebody is selling an 2008 GU ST frame and bash for £75 posted before going to China .?

definitly not. Hows locking your back wheel gonna help?
A spinning wheel weighs more then a stationary wheel.
-
I was relay struggling with side hops and could even side hop 4 pallets, then a mate said i should try them with my back foot facing the wall. it felt really strange at first but now i can some times get 6 pallets.
