  7. Trials at the Extreme Sports Week 2015!

    Hey!

    Are you ready for the most awesome festival this year? The Extreme sports week festival in Voss, Norway.

    Thousands of skydivers, kayakers, climbers, riders and skaters are gathering in beautiful Voss for one week of complete insaneness and stupidity!

    There will be a trials riding every day there. With a unique trials jam competition one day and a speed trials comp another day. (!!PRIZE MONEY $$$)

    Hopefully we will get a lot of international riders to come! This is a festival for all riders, newbies and pros (but you should be 18+).

    cool vid, loved those drawing effects in the edit, what software do you used to make it?

    I used Adobe Flash for the drawings.

    Crazy good, even though the non-descriptive title thing remains an annoyance

    AHhhh, but it is a really describing title! (or maybe not.) It translates to "Moving pictures in chronological order" Describing, isn't it?

  10. New Indoor Trials Park

    Hey, we are now building a new trials park in Kongsberg, Norway. The building started just before christmas in an old gym. The hall used to belong to the norwegian army, but they sold it some years ago and about three months ago we got the pleasent news that we could start building our trials park. In addition to the trials area there will be a bmx/skate ramp and a climbing/bouldering wall.

    This weekend we invited some riders over to help building, ride and have fun.

    I filmed some stuff and made a short video.

    All you guys are hereby invited over to norway when we are finished building. What do you think?;)

    Already posted this on observedtrials, but here is some more info for you aswell:
    I hadn't heard if it was good or not to ride trials in Nepal before i went there, but I figured that since there is lots of mountains there, it should also be a lot of rocks there. So I arrived in the capital, Kathmandu, which was terrible for trials riding because of all the people and cars there. So I jumped on a bus to Pokhara where I took a taxi for an hour or so and then started walking towards Annapurna Base Camp (which is 4130 meters above sea level). After I had been walking for 3 days through a jungle i ended up at the Base Camp. Most of the footage in the video is filmed at an altitude between 3000 and 4130 meters, on the base camp and in the rivers below the base camp.
    I heard from the locals that I was the first person ever to bring a bike all the way up to The Annapurna Base Camp, which I think is a little bit fun. ;P
    I also just randomly met this German guy who soon became my Video- and photographer. He joined me for a week or so, filming me in the mountains and in the streets of Pokhara!
    Already looking foreward to my next trip to some stupid place to do some more trials riding!

    That spot is outside Kristiansand in Norway, its an old bunker from WWII. Amazing place to ride!

    Loved that! Why at 3.14 do you have a cash machine in your riding area? Haha

    Haha, always useful to be able to get some cash while we ride? :P

    No, its because we just have some pallets and spools in the corner of a big indoor ice-skating track, and they are by some reason in need of a cash machine =P

    Hey, last week we had a trials camp in Oslo, Norway, with about 25 people riding bikes for 6 days. The last day we arranged round 3 of the norwegian biketrials cup, with 26 riders starting. Almost twice as many riders than last year!

    Great riding!!

    At 16:50... does that dude have no rear brake??

    hehe, yup, I broke my brake lever the day before we rode in Terrassa, so I had to ride with no rear brake the whole day. It was actually quite fun!

    haha, I didnt even notice it before you mentioned it! Epic!

    TrialIsHard: You guys are so lucky travelling to all these places to ride! ...

    its just how you choose to spend your money, i have been broke the last month because we went there, but it was worth it! :P

    That was just awesome.

    Do you have three bikes, or were they spread across the year?

    Never before have I seen a trials video with dubstep, but that first song was pure hype. Could have done with a more aggressive edit :P

    Amazing.

    yeah, i have 3 bikes! ;) next week or something i will get my 26" Zumbi frame! And then its barcelona for 19 days! Stoked!

    Oh, it's pretty much the same geo of my because simple. What stem/bars combo are you running on the frame?

    It's good too see somebody doing some streety stuff of a frame like that (Y)

    Im using a System ex stem, and used a echo high rise bar until it broke in half couple of months ago. :P

    makes it quite easy to bunnyhop with and makes it feel more streety!
