  1. The other quarries I know of are Cowm quarry which is in Whitworth, & is a proper run Business which I think you can access from Lee quarry, & Ding quarry, Which you can Access at the top of Rooley Moor Road which is a disused old quarry, But I think you can Access it from Lee quarry as well, Never heard about Cragg's quarry before though, Where abouts is it?

  2. I have just put the trialtech 4 bolt on the back end of my fourplay and it has stiffened it uip really well and now the brake feels much better, so that would be the one I recomend, I am running tnn lgm pads with a 4 finger lever bled on phat phluid and it feels great, not sure what to use on a smooth rim as I always have a grind.

Cheers once again for your advice,

    Ben.

  3. The trialtech one fits spacings 95-105mm and the Tensile one 90-110mm so they should be both fit on the inspired frame but please measure your spacing between your brake mounts to ensure it.

As for with one you should choose, this is up to you mostly.

I would personally go with the Trialtech one for an inspired.I think that it can eliminate the flex and keep the weight down too.

    Your help has been fantastic

    Thank you,

    Ben.

  4. Hi Guys,

I'm after a booster for my Inspired, as the brake is pretty bad, There is quite a bit of flex from the brake & frame & wants to be a bit stiffer really. Not to sure wether to go for a 2 bolt one or a 4 bolt one, Also need some new brake pads as well, Some that work well on a smooth rim, Would much rather have a disc brake on the back, But no mount unfortunatly!

    Any replies really appreciated,

    Cheers,

    Ben.

  5. come on pal im interested in buying something from the for sale section but im not aloud to comment :(

This topic really isn't going to help you at all, You'd of had more of a chance if you hadn't of bothered with this, Just do what everyone else has to do & wait.

  6. While doing a hill climb most riders stay in the same gear.

True, 3rd of 4th gear I find is the best.

For hillclimbs the best way I find is, Get your balance first at the bottom of a hill, Rev it wide open & Slip the clutch very fast, That way the rear tyre gets spinning at the bottom of the hill, rather than it starting to spin at the top, & I find it very much tends to grip all the way up, If you feel like it starts spinning, Just slip the clutch for a second, Also keep your throttle on all the way, The biggest reason why people don't get up hills, is because they let the throttle off to soon, & also keep your body very far down on the bike, that way it has less chance of spinning. That's the best technique for hillclimbs

  7. Yes i was about to say im guessing theres a lot of work with the clutch to avoid you doing wheelies all the time or is it due to the fact that the engine idles so slow to help? I once had a pit bike and the clutch on that was a bit fearce, maybe it was just me not ehhh "catching it on the bite" :giggle:

It can be used to avoid wheelies, But if you get one going use the rear brake to get it down, The Clutch is a major part though, It should be used most of the time, I no on mine I'm always using the clutch for everything , You'd be suprised as how big a part the clutch plays on a trials bike, As Gary Mac will very much tell you!

  8. Cheers Guys for your comments, About the stickers, I had a few monster ones sat in my bedroom & I thought it would blend in nicely, So just stuck a couple on it, If it wasn't for the colour of the frame they wouldn't be on, I'm not one of those people who sticks them anywhere for the sake of it lol.

monkeyseemonkeydo: About the seat, I had it tilted further back before, It depends on what sort of riding i'm doing really. If I'm doing trials on it, it will be further back, But obviously the last time I was out on it I must of been crusing about lol.

  9. Have You painted the frame?

Yep, Well my mate powder coated it for me, Looks even better in the flesh as well!

I had it done before the new 2011 Inspired range came out, & the new Inspired frame is in the same colour lol!
