  1. Thanks!

I began to think that you thought it was boring cause none comment on 100 thread views :P

The riding on the bike is not the best cause it's the beginning of the season and I've been off the bike since the beginning of October. It takes a while to get all the control back that you had when you stopped last season.

  2. It's a bit frustrating to watch this. A blurry fish eye with a lots of dirt on it that's some of the worst I've seen, combined with some of the best trials riding you could find on the internet. God why?!?

It's like painting a Ferrari pink with a roller >_<

  3. The first part made me think that "okay, an other child with a poor cellphone camera wants to play with the big guys but can't jump higher then a 20" wheel". But damn I was wrong when I was about to close down and go to next thread the cool things kept coming.

When he has grown a bit and got strength and length he has a good chance of becoming a pro!

I hope to see him again.

  4. On a trials bike you get a lot of tension in and around the welds because they are in the edges of the geometry where the majority of the forces occurs. And they don't x-ray the welds for micro cracks that may have been a part of this. It could be fault in the material or the welding like to fast cooling.

Why the crack came in that specific area it's because the rhombic shape wants to go square when you put a down force on the pedals and a counterforce on the wheel and head tube.

  5. I think that the GU is to long for me. I do the higher side hops with it then my "24"inspired" and "20"echo lite" but I can't handle it like I do with the 20" when it comes to other things and then I do consider the higher weight and wheel size.

I think that I will go for the short Pure but I would like to hear something about the Control.

  6. I'm about to put my GU26" frame up for sale and was thinking about getting an Echo Control or Pure.

The Pure is much cheaper so I think that I'll go for that one but is the Control worth the extra money? Is there a lot of differences between those frames?

  7. It's really annoying now days. The first 2-3 times in my trial career it was fun to get attention but to day I get really tired of it and why to you got holes in your rim and bla bla. "No, smart ass what does it look like?" I may sound like an ass hole but if theres a bunch of annoying cocky kids you'll have to keep em short if you want to spend the time riding instead of baby sitting.

  8. Some manuals would have made that vid even better! Great stuff!

I know, but street and bmx riding is something I've never done so I haven't got so good at it yet. I went from simple XC riding to trials so I will be learning the street stuff with this bike.

  9. I enoyed that, particularly the wide angle shots where you ride around for ages hitting everything. Now I want the ice to get gone from round here so I can go ride...

I felt a bit like Danny Macaskill non-stop ride on everything when I rode that place with the wide stair, I'm so much looking forward to the spring and getting started riding again because I just had a few weekends with this bike when I started riding like that. But I haven't even got a chance to ride my snowboard yet so the winter can stay a few months more ;)

  10. Nice try, hope the frame didn't get hurt.

Sometimes people take up their cellphones when I ride. One time when I only had been riding trials for ½ year a bunch of kids came up to me and asked the 100 usual questions, no filming that time but they wanted to shake my hand if I some day would be big and famous like Danny Macaskill.

Most people is a bit afraid to film someone just like that and may not dare to ask if it's OK. I've seen a few kids that have taken up their phones to try to capture some jumps in secret.

  11. I use "sony vegas". You could buy it or get it some way I shouldn't tell here  It's better then moviemaker with more effects and better tools etc.

Making an good video.... It's not all about the riding it self. You can be an awful rider but make an interesting video that gets people to watch till the end and actually like it.

The best way to learn how to make a good video is watching other popular videos professionals and amateurs. Take notes of how they are made, clips, effects, repeating clips, angles etc. Choice of music, make the pictures float with the music and so on. Try to look for those things that make it look good beside the actual riding.

And then practice, make videos ask for critics. Listen to the critics and see if you can change it.

If you've seen my Inspired Autumn I recently made a remake that got a lot better(if you ask me). The first one got more of the cool slowmotion clips but it got to much, and other things that I thought was fun but may be not for others. Two videos made from the same material but quite different in interesting level.

    The remake

The first one(forget about the music, had to change because of the youtube filter)

  12. i really want a black and pink inspired now

amazingly captured, looks like a joyous ride you had there too

Hehe, it wasn't to easy to get the right parts, tarty only had one rim so I had to get them from Poland. I don't know if their still available today in 24".

I had really fun riding those days but a few months earlier I was so very close selling it because I just couldn't ride it and my 20" felt so much better. But then it all clicked just a few weeks before this video was filmed and I started to know how to ride the bike after owning it for 1½ year. Still have a lot to learn like wheelies, bunny hops and 360's and I'm eager to get riding when the snow is gone.

  13. Thanks a lot :D

The first one was the first with the new camera so that's why it got to much of the goodies. Maybe it got a little to much of the filter effect on this one, but it was the first time testing it and my computer is to slow to show the result as a preview.

I'm quite happy with it myself, and next up is some snow downhill and snowboarding.

  14. hmm i liked it, persnoally i would of like to see slow mo kick of inbetween normal speed then slow mo landing, but then thats personal pref...

Any way - How long has it taken you to to grow your hair ! :o

I try to teach my 12yo brother to handle the camera for me so sometimes it doesn't turn out the way I want and some things I don't see until I watch it on the computer. So I will probably try that later.

I've saved it for almost 7 years and I think it's around 65-70cm long. The girls get jealous about it because it's so long.

  15. About me smashing pallets :D

I like to put a personal touch on it because this video is not only for you, it's for myself to look back on in the future and to share with my friends.

But I understand your point. I'm also not always interested in others playing around when I want to see something specific and has a lot to do on the webb and think it's a waste of my time.

Thanks for all comments, thats what keeps it fun making videos.
