  1. cheers fella, gonna go away and come back with some concepts for you to critisize.
  2. Fair point, i have an idea in my head for a hub with 300+ points of engagement but ive not looked into it massively as its complex and quite bulky so the figure could and probably is wrong. I would give more idea but i just dont have any at the moment. Im also tempted to look into forging the hubshell instead of CNC machining to increase strenght but its not exactly a nice finish. again im not sure its possible. seems like im digging a hole here Probably not much help.
  3. Right ive not been on here for a fair old while and i cant seem to be able to use my old account so im having to post this in here. Basically im in my final year at Uni. studying a BSc (hons) degree in CAD. And i need some facts from you the riders. Im currently in the research phase of the project, which is the Design and FEA of a Bicycle Hub (rear) specifically designed for Biketrials. So i just need a some feed back on what your perfect hub would be? Engagements? Weight? Materials? Cost? Asthetics? Fingerscrossed all you nice chaps will give me lots of feedback on what makes the perfect Biketrials hub so i can get some concepts on the way. If possible could someone make this a sticky or even upgrade my account so i can get the opinion of the riders that have been "around a while" as i cant imagine them coming in here all that often. Regards, Richard
