I really wouldn't advise multi fx pedals, singular pedals are always preferable but i guess your budget would only allow for 2 or 3 simple pedals.....but that could be enough? What effects are you after?
Loads of people get multi-fx and wander through endless phaser and modulation effects that aren't being used very well. I mean i guess your main want is for a distortion...but what do you want after that? Delay? Reverb? Has your amp got built in reverb? If so that may suffice. For £100 you could get a big muff and a second hand delay pedal and what more do you want after that? If you're not after a load of effects don't get loads.
HOwever, if you do really want a whole bunch look at a second hand Boss GT-6...the daddy of multi-effects. I had one for a few years, not my bag but it sure has a lot of features and sounds.
I've already looked at some single stomp boxes. But i thought that for my budget, a multi-fx would be better for me. I am mainly wanting distortion, delay/reverb, compression, although i may need more in the near future. But at the moment, I am playing a whole lot of different genres, which means that I can't really afford to be buying different pedals for different things. So i reckon i'm going to give a multi-fx a go.
I have looked around, and at the moment I have a short list of the Pod 2.0, Boss GT-6 or the Boss ME-20. Any recommendations on which one to go for?

Hi all, I am looking at Guitar Fx Pedals at the moment, and I am confused about which one I want. I have seen the Line 6 Pods, but I am open to other brands/models that are nice to use. I don't really want to spend more than £100.
Thanks, Joe

Having a bit of a problem with the home network. Atm, we have two routers, one bt homehub and one Netgear DG something or other, which we alternate. We have to alternate them because the laptops down stairs seem to keep getting DC, but i know its not the router because my xbox, which is wired, never DC's. The only thing i can think of is the wireless signal (11 ATM) but i've used NetworkStumbler, which has found nothing in the area using the same channel. Also, an another reason we alternate hubs is because with the homehub, my brother gets very bad lag(On his Xbox which uses the wireless adaptor), but I don't for some reason, does anyone know why this is?
Thanks Joe
Edit: BTW, the xbox which is wireless has the correct ports opened of both routers. I've also tried DMZ, which shows no avail.

Go for the Xbox! My PS3 broke after a month of having the bloody thing. So i took it back and got an xbox, which i now prefer by miles.

I shall share my experiences with modem routers as i've just had to get the ps3 and xbox working with them. So far, i've tried a BT Home Hub which was terrible, it never worked with the 360 or PS3 properly. Then i got a D-Link, which was excellent, apart from the connection died after about 10-12 hours, then wouldn't connect again. Then i tried a Belkin N Router, which again never worked properly. So we took that back, and got a netgear, which has been excellent since setting it up, the only problems i've had are it likes to disconnect and connect again randomly. Although i believe it might be the power supply. But yeah, i'd recommend a Netgear.
Edit: Looks like you have the same router as me. If you need any help setting any bits of it up, pm me and i'll try my best to help.

I managed to get it working. Turns out that the basic install was a load of rubbish and that i had to do it manually.
Please close.

Hi all, i just bought a Belkin N Modem Router to replace my BT home hub. However, im having trouble getting it set up. All the lights on the router come up blue, apart from the internet icon, which flashes orange. At the moment, i've tried everything to get it working (reseting, different phone ports etc) but i still can't get it to work. Can anyone help me?
Thanks, Joe.

Picture or it didn't happen
Stfu.
Back on topic, I was reading about it on the net, it's actually a very intresting topic and I'm totally for the experiment. I am very doubtful anything will happen, but I was under the impression it was only the first beam being fired tomorrow and that they're not actually colliding the atoms until october?

Who's actually coming tomorrow?

Town station is closed on a sunday! Everyone meet at North station at about 11?
